Guiding you through change, growth and stability after an acquired disability.
Welcome to your New Normal!

Life after acquiring a disability is filled with mixed and complex emotions that can feel so overwhelming, I am here to assist in guiding you through these feelings, with a focus on thriving, manageable goals and the approaches that can make the difference, The strategies which helped me, could also help you to adapt and live with positivity.

Resilience is a powerful tool when facing life's challenges. Together, we will work on strengthening your mindset and developing strategies that empower you to overcome obstacles.
This is not about being shown the way forward, its about discovering your way, with someone alongside you.
Nuenormal was born from lived experience, not theory. Following my own acquired disability, I found myself navigating a journey that often felt fragmented. While structured care and support were available at key stages, there were also significant gaps. It was within those gaps that I began to understand what was missing—and what might help others facing a similar transition.
Looking back, the early stages of my recovery were marked by anger, resentment and self-sabotage. I placed judgements upon myself that I would never have applied to anyone else, and struggled to rationalise the strength of what I was feeling. Over time, however, I learned to transform those emotions into passion, creativity and a determination to make my experience useful to others.
I can now honestly say that I accept the “new me”—although, of course, I still get angry, frustrated and completely fed up at times. That is life. There is no perfect formula for adjusting to acquired disability, because no two people or experiences are the same.
Nuenormal therefore offers thoughtful, authentic and bespoke support that begins with you: your needs, your wants, your concerns and the life you want to build. We are part of a club that none of us ever asked to join, and I do not claim to have all the answers or offer a magic wand. What I can offer is a safe and honest space to explore different approaches, attitudes and behaviours that you may not previously have experienced or considered—and to work through them together.
Drawing on my lived experience and a long-standing career grounded in the values, professionalism and ethos of the NHS, I am uniquely placed to support others through change with empathy, confidence and purpose.

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
This is a content preview space you can use to get your audience interested in what you have to say so they can’t wait to learn and read more. Pull out the most interesting detail that appears on the page and write it here.
